New Delhi: KL Rahul is struggling with poor form. Runs are not coming from his bat, yet he remains in the playing eleven. A lot of talk is happening in the cricket world about this. He has not been able to score a half-century in the last 10 innings. Rahul has scored 20, 17 and one in three innings of the ongoing Test series against Australia. Two former players of India have also clashed with each other regarding Rahul.
Venkatesh Prasad and Akash Chopra clashed over KL Rahul
Former India fast bowler Venkatesh Prasad is continuously tweeting about KL Rahul. Criticizing them. He accused Team India of being biased towards Rahul. He wrote that talented batsmen are not getting a place in the playing-11. Shikhar has a Test average of over 40. Mayank's average is more than 41. He also has two double centuries. Shubman Gill is in excellent form. And the never ending wait for Sarfaraz. Several domestic performances have been consistently overlooked.
Akash Chopra came in support of KL Rahul
Former India opener Akash Chopra jumped in support of KL Rahul. He did a youtube video on KL Rahul. At the end of the video, Chopra urges Prasad to keep calm and not pedal the 'agenda'. Chopra said that I am not saying that KL Rahul will become like Rohit Sharma, but I humbly request you to keep calm. If there's an agenda, don't pedal them.
This comment by Aakash Chopra did not go down well with Venkatesh Prasad and he took to social media to lash out at the former India opener. Venkatesh Prasad replied, “So my friend Aakash Chopra called me an agenda peddle this morning after making a poor video on YouTube. Subtly and cleverly proved me wrong. Removes Mayank's average of 70 at home but sometimes he wanted to get Rohit out of the team.
So my friend Aakash Chopra after making a vile video on YouTube this morning where he calls me an agenda peddle, conveniently and cleverly misquotes me, removes Mayank's average of 70 at home, wants to gag views which are not in line with what he believes but Wanted Rohit out pic.twitter.com/2HwFLMgvmd

Venkatesh Prasad said that I have no agenda against any player, may be of other people. Differences are fine, but saying don't bring opposing views to your personal agenda and Twitter is ridiculous of @cricketaakash.
