The UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric affirmed yesterday at a press conference that they are preparing a convoy with humanitarian aid for these opposition areas and that it is expected that they will be sent from inside Syria, passing through the fronts controlled by other actors.

According to Dujarric, the roads that go to Bab al Hawa have been damaged by the earthquakes, making it difficult to use the crossing, although he stated that the border crossing itself is "intact", contrary to previous versions offered by Syrian and international sources.
