Turkey – Syria earthquake | Arab countries continue to send planes with aid to Syria | Bashar al-Assad | Recep Tayyip Erdoğan | WORLD

Various countries in the Arab world continue to send planes with humanitarian aid to the Government of syrian president, Bashar al-Assadwhich has called for the lifting of international sanctions against them to expedite the arrival of supplies to their areas.

According to the official Syrian news agency SANA, since late last Monday, aircraft from Algeria, Egypt, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Libya, Iraq and Iranin addition to assistance sent from outside the region by Russiaone of the main allies of Al Asad, and the India.

For its part, the Syrian government itself has approved an item equivalent to some 7.5 million dollars to finance rescue efforts in their areas, according to SANA.

The earthquakes have also affected opposition areas in the northwest of the country, where search operations and aid distribution are entirely independent of the Syrian government, which is not expected to share supplies donated by the international community with them.

So far, there have been more than 2,000 deaths and 4,000 wounded throughout the Syrian territory.
