Sanjay Raut’s big attack on Amit Shah

Maharashtra Politics: Maharashtra leader Sanjay Raut has made a big allegation that crores of rupees were spent to break Shiv Sena. On Saamana's article, Sanjay Raut called Amit Shah the biggest enemy of Maharashtra and Marathis. He said that Shiv Sena is the pride and honor of Maharashtra. Balasaheb Thackeray formed the Shiv Sena for the self-respect of Maharashtra.

Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut said that if you are buying Shiv Sena by breaking it, then what does it mean? Shiv Sena will not end. It is embers, it is fire, it is not going to be extinguished. Explain that the Shiv Sena (UBT) has claimed in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana that the name and election symbol were bought by the BJP. On Sunday also, party leader Sanjay Raut had claimed that a Rs 2000 crore deal was struck to buy the party's name and its 'bow and arrow' symbol.

On the other hand, a complaint has been filed in Nashik against Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Sanjay Raut for his objectionable remarks against Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde during a press conference in Nashik.

Meanwhile, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) has lost verification after changing its Twitter handle from @ShivSena to @ShivSenaUBT_ following the Election Commission's (EC) order on the party's name and symbol.

The party's media handle @ShivsenaComms also lost its verified blue tick and has been renamed as @ShivsenaUBTComm. There is no verified handle on Twitter by the name @ShivSena.

Shiv Sena's name and symbol allotted to Shinde faction

Explain that the Election Commission has allotted the name 'Shiv Sena' and its election symbol bow and arrow to the faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. After this decision, the Uddhav team needed to change the name on the Twitter handle. Team Uddhav has also changed the name of its YouTube channel from Shiv Sena to Shiv Sena UBT, though Team Uddhav is still using the name 'Shiv Sena' on its Facebook page.

The election body has allowed the Thackeray faction to retain the name 'Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray' and the 'flaming torch' election symbol given in an interim order last year till the conclusion of the ongoing assembly bypolls in the state.
