Samsung Galaxy Z flip 5 is coming with some big changes to improve an already popular smartphone!
so first up we've got news from reliable display analyst Ross Young that we're going to be getting a bigger external display on the z-flip 5.

Now he Tweeted to say that the Z flip 5 is going to have a much larger cover display at greater than three inches as well as a new hinge design that could reduce the visibility of the seam.

Now to put this into perspective the Z flip 4's external display it was 1.9 inches so that's a pretty big increase in display size this should also allow a little bit more use for the display rather than just being for notifications.

The new hinge is reportedly going to reduce the SEMA in the center of the display so that it's almost completely gone we're just going to create a much better user experience when it comes to display leaks Ross Young is always very accurate so we can be pretty sure that this is correct.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Cameras Upgrades

We've got news from the Korean media that the z-flip 5 is going to be seeing some big upgrades to the cameras the flip 4 had a fairly standard camera system with a 12 megapixel on the rear then a 10 megapixel selfie shooter while the rear cameras are still unknown at the moment rumors are saying that we're going to get an upgrade to a 12 megapixel wide angle camera for the Selfies and hopefully with the new chipset it should also allow for 4K videos in 60 frames a second unlike the current limit of 30.

The phone is of course coming with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 plus Gen 2 chipset along with a choice of 128, 256 or 512 storage and then 8 gigabytes of RAM it's going to be launching in August 2023 alongside the new z-fold form and apart from the larger external display in the new improved hinge the design is thought to remain relatively the same.

Now in terms of pricing it's still far too early to get a real idea but due to the increasing component cost we will likely see a small bump in the price tag one thing we can expect to see as well is some new color choices along with some changes to the bespoke range and sampling and predicting even more popularity in the foldables with an estimated 10 million shipments of the z-flip 5 and and the fold five and this is up from last year's 7.1 million of course it's still very early days and there's still lots more to be confirmed but as always I'll be sharing the news as it comes in.
