Ayesha Omar: Rumors of divorce between tennis player Sania Mirza and her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik have been doing the rounds for the past one year. It was alleged that Pakistani actress Ayesha Omar was also one of the reasons for the couple's relationship turning sour. According to reports, Sania and Shoaib have parted ways, though neither of them has spoken publicly about their breakup.
Now Ayesha has reacted to the rumors in a new interview on former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar's chat show. She said that it was not right to blame her for Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik's divorce, and clarified that she would 'never be attracted' to a married man.

2021 photoshoot sparks rumors
Ayesha's name has been linked with Shoaib Malik ever since the two were seen together in a 2021 photoshoot. Pictures of both from the photoshoot were widely shared on social media last year. There were also rumors that Shoaib would marry Ayesha but the Pakistani actor denied it last year. Now, in a clip, she has answered Shoaib Akhtar's question about her alleged affair with Shoaib Malik.
Omar replied, "I would never be attracted to anyone married or committed. Everyone knows me and it goes without saying."
When Shoaib Akhtar called her photoshoot with Shoaib Malik 'very revealing', Ayesha asked, "Who said that?" The host then said, "Yeh controversy bahut badi ho gayi (It became a big controversy)." Ayesha then told him, "Woh yahan nahi thi, yeh seema paar (Not here, but in India, it became a controversy)."
'He is very happy with his wife'
Last year too, Ayesha had broken her silence on the matter. When a person asked them in an Instagram post, "Do you both have a wedding plan?" Newspaper reports quoted Ayesha as saying, "No. Not at all. Un ki shaadi ho hum hain and he is very happy with his wife. I respect the main dons @realshoaibmalik and @saniamirza ki bohot samman karti (No, Not at all. He is married and he is happy with his wife. I respect @realshoaibmalik and @saniamirza a lot).
Shoaib and Sania married in 2010 and have been living in Dubai since then. They welcomed their son Izhaan in 2018. According to reports, Sania and Shoaib have reportedly ended their relationship and are raising their son together.
