”The love of Jesus asks us to let ourselves be touched by the suffering of those who suffer”, he said at the end of the Angelus held in Saint Peter's Square.

Specifically, the Pope added:I am thinking especially of Syria and Turkey, of the many victims of the earthquake, but I am also thinking of the daily dramas of the dear Ukrainian people and of so many peoples suffering from war, poverty and environmental devastation.”.
Given this, he expressed his closeness to New Zealand due to the cyclone that has caused victims and numerous damages.
”Let us not forget those who suffer, may our charity be attentive and concrete”, added the pope in his appeal.
