let's talk about Megan I went in hearing really positive things as I'm sure a lot of people had the Rotten Tomatoes score is really high last time I checked it was at a 94% to me that seems a little high after having seen the movie.

I will say that it is a good time at the theaters if you are go with certain people but we'll talk more about that at the end what I want to talk about first is Megan as a scary movie I don't think it was that scary I think it was more funny and enjoyable and it sometimes may be thrilling but it wasn't really scary I think maybe there's just a couple of jump scares there was one part that I thought was pretty uh horrific and gross but other than that I think it's a pretty watchable for most people which is a good thing because that widens its audiences and I think that that will be a huge factor in this film success I think a lot of people are going to see it because it's not so scary that it's going to limit the audience and the fact that there are really funny moments throughout the film make this worth a watch there's a lot of really cool I don't want to spoil anything but just moments you'll know when you see them because you'll be laughing.
So will everyone else in your theater and that's what makes this a really fun watch with a group of people as for Megan herself a new meme has been born she is just so vibrant and her personality is so loud and bold that I'm sure a lot of people are going to really enjoy this character and will become a pop culture staple I expect there to be a lot of advisor on Megan we're definitely gonna get a sequel I suspect and potentially even a franchise I could really see this supporting a whole franchise I'm sure a lot of people will also dress up as Megan for Halloween and I think that that is really perfect because she looked amazing and that's kind of what makes this movie worth watching is is Megan herself like her personality shines through the way she carries herself she's confident she's bold she's sassy she has an attitude um it's it's really really great she's sarcastic so that's what makes this really funny and and Megan's personality is much more Bolder than the rest of the cast and so that's a good counterbalance but I think that the filmmakers wanted to have a contrast between the doll and the real humans and there's some commentary there about how technology seems more appealing and enjoyable than the humans around us technology will also seem much more entertaining and Lively and worth our time because it's designed to be that way and so this film is a commentary on technology particularly with children and how children engage with technology and the impact that it has on developmental Milestones relationships with other people so there's commentary in that sense it doesn't go as deep as it could have and I think that maybe if it were to go a bit deeper this would Elevate this film into something like a Jordan peel movie where there's a lot of layers to unpack and commentary but as it stands Megan is a very simple story it's pre-service level for the most part um I think maybe in sequels that they could go deeper if you are interested in just having a good time watching a movie with a group of friends whether you go to see it in theaters or you watch out at home when it becomes available on streaming then this is worth the watch uh I don't necessarily think you have to rush to theaters to see it you could wait but I think it's just so timely and everyone's talking about it it really makes it seem like a party so check it out uh it was fun to watch with a group of people if you're a fan of horror movies then you're you should definitely check this out because this is the latest installment it's a Blum House production so yeah Megan is a fun movie that you should definitely check out with a group of people with some friends with family that you can laugh about but also maybe giving some reminders about the influence on technology on our lives again not too much meaning or depth at the end of the day it's a good time and it's a good movie that's all movies should be so those are my thoughts on Megan let me know what you thought if you've seen already if you haven't seen it will you be seeing it with the reviews and word of mouth or are you gonna wait until you can watch it for free on streaming service if you have seen it what did you think of it no spoilers in the comments below because there isn't much too spoiled they don't want anyone to have anything ruined and also don't watch the trailer you don't want to bring those scenes to the Forefront and that will diminish your enjoyment of the film thank you.
