Carlos Alberto Díaz, known in the internet world as 'La Granja del Borrego', was the Colombian winner of the TikTok 2023 awards in the category of best knowledge creator.
'Borrego', 16, narrates on his social networks, where he has more than 16 million followers, his day to day in the Colombian countryside.
The young man started the project in 2019 and, since then, He has not stopped making content related to agricultural activities and care for the environment.
Díaz attended Mexico City where the awards ceremony was held, which in this edition awarded 14 different categories.
In the category 'I learned it on TikTok'- or best creator of knowledge 'La Granja del Borrego' was also competing with Calligraohilic, Curiospace and my teacher Fidelito.
"This award, those who deserve it, are my animals," Díaz said as he went up on stage, his more than 200 pets live with him and his family in Cundinamarca. It is thanks to his chickens, sheep, horses and dogs that he has achieved recognition and has been able to provide tips and tricks.
"Thanks to them I can teach them everything," he said to laughter and applause from the audience. With the affection of the public, the Colombian creator said goodbye to everyone with his already iconic "bye, farmers" with which he says goodbye to his videos, sung by everyone present at the event.
The awards ceremony was seen by more than 5.2 million people, from the @tiktok_español account and featured surprises such as the return of RBD, the successful musical group that, after 15 years of absence, is about to return to the stage .
