The 28-year-old Vidit Gujarati joined the likes of Indian GMs R Praggnananda, D Gukesh and Arjun Erigaisi in defeating Carlsen. The Indian trio had earlier won over the Norwegian superstar in various tournaments in 2022. Praggnananda has defeated Carlsen many times.
