Karnataka: The Karnataka government transferred IAS Rohini Sindhuri and IPS D Roopa Moudgil without posting them anywhere. It is alleged that D Roopa had posted private pictures of IAS Rohini on social media. Also, he was accused of corruption.

After this the quarrel between the two officers increased. Rohini had declared IPS D Roopa to be mentally ill.

D Roopa was the managing director of the Karnataka Handicrafts Development Corporation, while Rohini was the commissioner of the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department.

The dispute came to the fore three days ago

On Saturday, IPS Roopa accused IAS Rohini of sharing her private photo with three IAS officers in the years 2021 and 2022. Roopa complained about this to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma.

At the same time, IAS Rohini hit back at Roopa. He said that Roopa took screenshots of private pictures from my WhatsApp status and shared them on Facebook. Rupa is mentally ill. They need treatment. If I had sent their photographs to any officer, they should reveal their names.

Angry at Home Ministry officials, MP put forth this demand

Karnataka Home Minister Araga Gyanendra has expressed strong displeasure over the matter. At the same time, Rajya Sabha MP Lahar Singh Siroya has advised to close the social media accounts of both the officers.
