BYJU'S co-founder Byju Raveendran is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India today.
Byju was born on July 15, 1980 in Azhikode village of Kerala. Byju did his schooling from Azhikode village in Malayalam medium.
After this, he enrolled in Calicut University, Kannur and obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from there.
Byju also gave CAT exam, in which he got 100 percentile marks, but he did not get admission.

After his studies, Byju worked as a service engineer in a shipping firm in England.
Due to lack of interest in work, Byju thought of opening a coaching institute and started teaching children on the terrace of his friend's house.
After teaching for a few years, Byju's along with his wife Divya Gokulnath founded BYJU'S in 2011.
Today the net worth of Byju and his wife is around Rs 29,000 crore.
