However, Wednesday's drop is being attributed in part to a Bard ad previously posted by Google on Twitter, in which he gave an incorrect answer about a historic landmark on NASA's James Webb super telescope.
Google spoke for the first time on Monday about Bard, the company's response to ChatGPT, in which its competitor Microsoft has invested millions of dollars and which has achieved great popularity in just over two months of life.

Sundar Pichai, Alphabet's chief executive officer, said on the corporate blog that Bard has so far been tested with trusted people before it is released to the general public "in the coming weeks."
Pichai then explained that Bard takes his information from the web “to provide fresh and high-quality answers”, and points out that it can be used for creative purposes but also for informational purposes only.
