  • UP Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that organized crime has been wiped out from UP in the last few years. Uttar Pradesh has only moved towards development. Today the second budget will be presented. Our focus is on the infrastructure sector and we aim to achieve a $1 trillion economy.
  • Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak told news agency ANI that it will be an inclusive budget for the overall development of the state.
  • Before presenting the budget in the assembly, Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna offered prayers at a temple in Lucknow.

Budget can be of seven lakh crore rupees

According to experts, this budget is expected to be around Rs 7 lakh crore. It is even being said that this could be the biggest budget. According to ANI, keeping in mind the next Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024, the government is also likely to allocate huge funds for women and youth as well as farmers.

This is the second budget of the current tenure of the Uttar Pradesh government. While this is the seventh budget including both the terms of the Yogi Adityanath government. The government had also hosted the Global Investors Summit on February 10-12 to bring in large scale investment in the state. The ministers and officers of the government are excited by this.

CM Yogi had made this promise to the public

On behalf of the government, it was said that during the Investors Summit, 19,058 MoUs have been signed with investment proposals worth Rs 33.50 lakh crore. Earlier in January, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had assured the people of the state that the budget would fulfill the aspirations of the people.
