The price hike not unexpected. DirecTV stream tends to raise prices every year, but something I noticed after the last price hike is that DirecTV stream really leaned into offers for new customers.
They've even got one going on now right before this price hike is going to take effect. But those new customer offers are typically only for a few months. So then after that, subscribers are going to have to ask themselves, is DirecTV Stream really worth $100 a month just to get those regional sports networks? I think a lot of people are going to be canceling DirecTV stream in 2023.
