Dates and Dry Fruits Laddoo

If you are a diabetic patient and have a craving for sweets after a meal, make laddoos made of dates and dry fruits.

To make it, mix together some chopped dates, chopped almonds, pistachios and pine nuts. Now make small balls from this mixture and coat them with roasted sesame seeds.

Now keep them in the fridge to set for a few hours and then consume them in sufficient quantity.

Date Pudding

To make this, soak 6-7 crushed dates in hot milk and then blend them to make a fine paste.

Now heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan, fry some dry fruits in it and then add prepared date paste and some ground cardamom to it.

When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, turn off the gas and enjoy this piping hot halwa.

Date Smoothie

It is a great high protein drink for diabetics.

To make it, add 2 dates and 250 ml milk in a blender and blend it well. After this, add some almonds, half a teaspoon of linseed and 1 pinch of cinnamon powder and blend it again.

Now pour this mixture in a glass and drink it. If you want, you can also add some ice cubes to this drink.

You can also make sweet chutney using dates and taste it.

For this, cook 100 grams of dates with 100 grams of tamarind with some chili powder and salt. When the mixture cools down, blend the mixture and filter it and store it in a jar.

You can enjoy this sweet chutney with a variety of spicy or bland snacks.

Oats and Dates Pudding

If you do not like rice kheer, then you can also try dates kheer.

To make this, boil 500 ml low fat milk well and then add 5-6 chopped dates and 3 tbsp roasted oats and cook for 5 minutes.

If you want, you can also add some dry rose petals or cardamom powder to it. After this, eat this kheer hot.
