Washington: Balloon fuss, tension is increasing between America and China. A mysterious balloon has been floating in the American sky for the past few days. The Pentagon claims that this Chinese balloon was sent to monitor the US defense forces and collect secret information. However, China denied that claim. Last week, the mysterious balloon missile was launched by the US Army. The wreckage of the Chinese balloon was finally recovered from the Atlantic Ocean. The US Navy released a photo of the balloon being lifted from the water above the boat.
The Chinese balloon was destroyed by missile launch on Saturday last week. Along with the news of the balloon destruction, it was reported that the balloon had fallen over the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Carolina. Skilled divers and boats have been sent to rescue it. The remains of the destroyed balloon have been recovered, the US Navy said on Tuesday. Part of the balloon was floating in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The mysterious balloon was flying at a height of 200 feet. The balloon weighs about 1000 pounds. Parts of the plane were found in the wreckage of the balloon, according to the Pentagon. It is being investigated whether any device was used to conduct surveillance on America.
It is known that the US Navy sent two drones named Kingfish and Swordfish to search for the debris of the balloon. The balloon was identified through the drone. Navy divers have so far recovered the balloon's white thick fabric and shell structure. Currently, the wreckage of the giant balloon is being searched for in the depths of the ocean. An intelligence collection pod was recovered from the floating balloon. The recovered pod and other debris will be sent to the FBI lab at Quantico.
By checking this pod, it will be known whether the allegations of Chinese surveillance on America are true. However, the Pentagon has so far said that the mysterious balloon does not pose any threat to the country's national security.
