Airtel recharge became expensive, the company discontinued the Rs 99 plan

Bharti Airtel has removed its Rs 99 base recharge plan from 19 circles in Maharashtra and Kerala.
Now users living in these areas will have to do a recharge of at least Rs 155 to keep their SIM active.
Before Kerala and Maharashtra, Airtel had also removed the Rs 99 base recharge plan from Odisha, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Northeast, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh-West.
What is available in the Rs 155 plan?
Airtel's Rs 99 base recharge plan offered talk time of Rs 99, 2.5 paise per second call rate and 200MB data with a validity of 28 days.
Now Airtel has introduced a base plan of Rs 155, increasing the price of its base plan by 57 per cent.
The Rs 155 plan offers additional benefits of unlimited calling, 300 SMS, 1GB data, Wynk Music and Hellotunes with a validity of 24 days.
