A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck again on the Turkey-Syria border; 3 killed, over 300 injured

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey's southern province of Hatay and northern Syria on Monday, with three people confirmed dead.
After the arrival of this earthquake, panic has once again spread among the local people.
In the devastating earthquake on February 6, the death toll in Turkey and Syria has crossed 46,000, while the number of injured is in lakhs.
Where was the earthquake felt?
According to media reports, an earthquake occurred in Turkey's Dafne city at 8:04 pm on Monday, whose strong tremors were also felt in Antakya city of Adana province, 200 kilometers to the north, and in Syria and Lebanon.
Witnesses said many buildings already damaged by the quake collapsed, sending clouds of dust rising into the sky and people everywhere crying for help.
How much damage from earthquake?
Turkey's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said three people were killed and 213 were injured in the quake, while in Syria more than 130 people were injured and some already damaged buildings collapsed.
According to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), more than 6,000 aftershocks have occurred since the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck the Turkey-Syria border on February 6.

Turkey and Syria, which have been hit by the most devastating earthquake of the century, have received panic from the latest earthquake. The epicenter of this earthquake was the city of Antioch and its tremors were also felt in Egypt and Lebanon.
Local resident Muna Al Omar said he was in a relief camp in the city of Antakya and had his 7-year-old child in his arms when the earthquake struck.
"I felt the ground beneath my feet explode," he said.
Two lakh houses will be built in the south-eastern region of Turkey
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that about two million new homes would be built in the southeast region of the country. This tragedy has left lakhs of people homeless.
He said that the reconstruction of more than 1.99 lakh houses will start from March in the quake-hit areas, including more than 1.30 lakh affected people in Hatay, Kahramanmaras and Malatya provinces, and the height of the buildings will be only three to four floors.
