1983 World Cup winning Indian players gather to celebrate Delhi Test victory

The Indian cricket team has badly defeated Australia in the second test played in Delhi. The celebration of this victory was celebrated in their own style by the veterans who made India the world champion in 1983.

All the veterans who were part of the team gathered at the house of captain Kapil Dev.

Sharing the photo, Sunil Gavaskar wrote, 'Wonderful meeting the Delhi boys who were part of the 83 World Cup team at Captain Kapil's house.'

India has taken a 2-0 lead in the series. Like Nagpur, the Delhi Test also ended on the third day itself. Most of the Indian players have left for their homes as the next match is more than a week away.

The Indian players will assemble on February 25 to prepare for the third Test to be held in Indore from March 1. There is no change in the team for the last two Tests.
